ISOCert News reviews all ISO News and Press releases before Publishing and distribution. Adhering to the following guidelines will help expedite the review process.

Every press release and information about your news must present a clear, timely, and newsworthy angle, avoiding advertising hype, direct address, and spam.

News about ISO standards and press releases should include the following features and qualities:

Newsworthy Content:

Relevant news angles in the context of ISO News and Press Releases must include the achievement of a new standard, updates to existing standards, certification achievements, organizational milestones such as anniversaries or awards, or expert insights on ISO-related topics aligned with current industry trends. The news announcement should be communicated in the headline.

Legally Accurate:

For all press releases referencing legal actions or matters related to ISO compliance or certification disputes, it is essential to provide sufficient documentation, such as a case number, court of record, complaint number, or equivalent supporting evidence.

Valid Contact Information:

Press releases related to ISO standards must include accurate contact details, such as a valid contact name, phone number, and email address, to ensure proper communication and credibility.

Written Authorization:

In specific cases related to ISO standards, such as announcements involving network marketing companies, the use of a stock ticker symbol, or significant corporate developments (including, but not limited to, mergers and acquisitions), written authorization from a company executive may be required before a press release is approved for distribution. Independent representatives of network marketing, MLM, or party plan companies must always secure explicit consent from the company's executive leadership.

Standard Length:

Press releases related to ISO standards should be between 300 and 800 words. The length of your release and ISO news impacts its distribution, and releases that are too short or too long may face challenges in being properly indexed by search engines.

Standard Grammar and Spelling:

Press releases related to ISO standards should be free from spelling and grammatical errors. While writing commonly used technical terms and acronyms in the industry, it’s necessary to define them so that the general audience can understand the content.

Formatting:

Press releases about ISO standards and News articles must not contain HTML tags, non-standard characters, tables, or forced line breaks. You should also avoid being written entirely in uppercase letters. Before submission, ensure that all links in the release are fully functional. If your website is down or not fully operational during the editorial review, you must remove the links or wait until the website is accessible to submit your release.

A Clear News Source:

The press release must identify the news source in the headline. The company or organization issuing the release and news about ISO. If the release is distributed by an agency or firm on behalf of a client, the client’s company or organization name should be listed as the source. Also, the connection between the company or organization and the news announcement should be clearly stated.

Email Addresses:

It is not recommended to include email addresses in the body of the press release. If an email address is necessary, our editorial team will modify it to a format such as Name (at) example (dot) com.

Accepted File Types:

Press releases with images must adhere to the following file formats: .jpg.
