Vijayawada: Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College obtained ISO 21001:2018 Certification for upholding the highest standards in education from TUV SUD South Asia Private Limited for the first time in the State. This certification covers the college’s ability to offer undergraduate and post-graduate engineering, technology, and management programs under an autonomous system.
Before granting the accreditation, TUV SUD South Asia staff members visited the college and evaluated the calibre of the educational standards the institution is upholding to teach future engineers. It is appropriate to note that the University Grants Commission has recommended that educational institutions verify their curricula in accordance with the 21001 requirements.
Therefore, the engineering college’s administration chose TUV SUD South Asia to carry out the required audits in the areas of teaching and research, education leadership, research facilities, libraries, and other areas. From July 21, 2023, for a period of three years, the certificate is valid.
