The Big Four firm KPMG has announced that it has achieved ISO 42001 certification, a global standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems.
Establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously developing an AIMS inside an organisation are all outlined in the ISO/IEC 42001 Standard. According to a KPMG representative, the accreditation is a prerequisite for offering AI assurance services to its clients and validates KPMG’s credentials and competencies in AI governance, risk management, and assurance. It provides impartial confirmation that the company’s internal AI management systems comply with new international standards. According to KPMG, it is the first of the Big Four to receive this certification.
