Technip Energies India’s Energy Management System (EnMS) has received ISO 50001:2018 certification. This certification increases stakeholder and customer trust by positioning the business as an industry leader in energy performance, innovation, and sustainability.

By integrating a strong EnMS throughout project management, design, engineering, procurement, construction, and manufacturing operations, the company strengthens its position in India’s energy transformation.

A tactical tool for the energy transition

“This accreditation goes beyond compliance; it is a strategic lever that increases our operational resilience, supports India’s national energy priorities, and reaffirms our leadership in sustainable engineering techniques,” stated Davendra Kumar, Managing Director of Technip Energies India. It establishes Technip Energies India as a leader in promoting sustainability and efficiency throughout the energy value chain.

Promoting energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy

Comprehensive energy studies, evaluations, training, and enhancements were integral to the certification process. In 2024, 53% of Technip Energies India’s electricity consumption came from renewable sources, following the company’s switch to renewable energy in two significant offices in 2023.

In Dahej, Gujarat, the company also installed a 750 kWp rooftop solar PV system, which is expected to generate 1,000 MWh of clean energy annually, significantly reducing Scope 2 emissions. Technip Energies emphasises its commitment to a low-carbon future by focusing on energy efficiency and helping clients and staff reduce their carbon footprint.
