Veza, a provider of identity protection services, declared that it has achieved certification to the worldwide information security standard ISO/IEC 27001. The most widely used international standard that specifies standards for information security management systems (ISMS) is ISO 27001.
As new cyber dangers appear regularly, ISO 27001 assists enterprises in preventing these occurrences within their own business and in putting strict policies in place to manage risk efficiently. Due to the significant amounts of sensitive data that businesses in the financial, banking, healthcare, telecommunications, and information technology sectors routinely keep, process, and manage, these organizations are particularly vulnerable. As a result, businesses in all sectors frequently demand that the suppliers they do business with have an ISO 27001 certification.

Approximately 59,000 valid ISO 27001 certificates have been given, according to the most recent ISO Survey, which represents less than 1% of all organizations worldwide. Veza successfully met all criteria for certification by working with independent third-party auditor Schellman to complete the assessment.
